Penn State Students

Students enrolled at Penn State Schuylkill may purchase a trip ticket that is good for 20 "one-way" trips on the STS fixed-route system within Schuylkill County.

The trip ticket — a $20 value — is available for $10 on a first come-first served basis (while supplies last). The Student Government Association subsidizes the additional cost of $10.00 per trip ticket.

Trip tickets may be purchased on Orientation Day — typically scheduled at the beginning of September or the end of August.

Tickets may also be purchased Monday thru Friday while classes are in session from Tiffany Cresswell-Yeager (570-385-6246) Assistant Director of Student Affairs or Lorraine Palko, Staff Assistant in the Office of Student Activities.

In addition, a representative from the Schuylkill Transportation System will be on campus in the Student Community Center once a month from noon to 1:00 p.m. to sell additional tickets, review the schedules with interested students, and answer any additional questions they may have.
